We work for the people who work.
If you’ve been hurt at work, one of the first things you should do is get good legal advice. A call to an attorney is free and completely confidential. You may not need to actually retain a lawyer – but you should definitely talk to one at the very beginning. It’s too easy to make a mistake at the beginning that costs you at the end.
You must report your injury to your employer immediately if possible – a delay in reporting an accident can result in your claim being denied. You have a right to medical treatment and financial compensation for your injury. However, you have to prove that your injury arose out of a work-related accident, disease or medical condition. Proving your case can be virtually impossible without knowing the law.
We can explain how it all works and what to expect. Workers’ compensation is a complex legal process. Even if the insurance company accepts your case and provides benefits, there are many issues that will come up as you go through the process. There is no guarantee you’ll be taken care of. Just because you file a claim doesn’t mean they will grant you benefits. We have the knowledge and resources to get the best possible outcome in your case.
Your job is to get better and get back to work. Our job is to help you through the legal process.
We consider our clients to be our friends, and we
always deal honestly and fairly with them. We don’t overcharge, we return all
of our phone calls, and we’re always available and ready to answer any of your questions or concerns. We have a sincere concern for your case,
and we take pride in going above and beyond the effort that most attorneys will
make for their clients. You'll appreciate that effort, and we hope you'll
keep coming back and referring your friends to Stephen Samuels.
